I do still have a lingering longing for the very different game New World was in the first alpha but that's not coming back so no point dwelling on what might have been. Good (A-tier): Bow, Fire Staff, Spear, Warhammer, Great Axe.

While flagged for PvP, you receive a 10% bonus to all experience you earn, and you receive 20% more influence in a S-Tier: Great Axe, Hatchet, Sword and Shield. While Snipers perform well in PvE content, it’s a little more tricky in PvP. This is known to be valid for up to Mob Level = Char Level + 4 (Orange and high-Yellow Mobs). One of the most exciting parts of New World is duking it out with other players.
